A home, a table, and the way of Jesus

We are Christians, and we follow the way of Jesus - simply, and at home. We gather at tables in our own homes, the way his first followers did: a light meal, a short prayer, a passage from the Gospels read aloud, and a few people who love God and each other. No building, no clergy, no denomination, no one's permission. Just the way of Jesus, kept where you live.

There is no building here, no membership, and nothing for sale. What you will find is the belief said plainly, a practice simple enough to begin this Sunday, and a reading for every week of the year.

If you already have a church you love, keep it. We are not here to pull anyone from a faith they hold. This is for those still looking, and for anyone who wants to follow Jesus, simply, at home.

Two things are being prepared and are not open yet: a forum, where households can talk with one another about the readings and the practice, and a way to give, for the readers who have asked how to help.

There is a place for you at the table.
