Letters are read before they are printed. You write, and then you wait, and a reply comes the way a reply to a letter comes: in days, not minutes.

This room is for what actually happens at your table.

Not the order as it stands on the card. The order as it went: the week the reading ran long and the children were finished before the psalm, the prayer somebody could not get through, the meal that was toast and apples because nobody had been to the shop. What you changed. What you tried twice and let go of. The part that surprised you by working.

We have written down how a gathering goes, and we stand behind it. But a page cannot tell you what a room does with it. Every table we have heard about has bent the shape a little to fit the people sitting at it, and that bending is not a failure of the practice. It is the practice.

Write plainly. Nobody is being reported to here, and nothing you say will be marked.

One question to open the room, if you want one: what is the smallest thing you changed, and did it hold?
